1. What is an Aircraft Trust?
A relationship where a trustee such as QualitAir owns an Aircraft on behalf of the owner. This arrangement is solely for the purpose of registering the Aircraft in the U.S. system and also provides the FAA a direct link to the  Aircraft located overseas that is registered in the U.S. system.
2. Why do people register their Aircraft in the U.S. system through QualitAir?
The FAA system is respected worldwide for its easy, secure and inexpensive processes for filling transfers, registration, and security documents. The annual inspection procedures are designed for the general aviation owner, not bureaucratic, and focus on the safety of the Aircraft.
3. Who may register their Aircraft in the U.S. system through QualitAir?
Anyone, there are no restrictions.
4. How long is the process to change ownership and during this time can I fly the Aircraft?
Usually count on 3-4 weeks depending upon the work load at the time of the FAA. There will be, depending upon the circumstances, a brief period of time around 1 week when the plane may not be flown - this could go longer but it depends on the entire situation. If an Airworthiness inspection is required the aircraft will be grounded until complete.
5. Do I still own my Aircraft?
Yes, the operating Agreement gives you every right as an owner. You may terminate the Trust Agreement at any time. The Aircraft cannot be transferred at any time during the Trust agreement.
6. Why choose QualitAir to register my Aircraft?
QualitAir is owned and operated by 2 Private Pilots located in Europe with over 30 years of experience in Aviation, Inspecting and maintaining Aircraft and the legal profession. At QualitAir we thoroughly understand our clients needs and will best represent your interests.
7. How do I get started?
Provide your name, email address, and aircraft registration number to a representative that speaks your language. We will immediately begin the process to register your Aircraft with the FAA.
8. My Aircraft is currently not registered in the U.S. what is the procedure to change?
First, you will need to reserver a N-number for your Aircraft here:
http://aircraft.faa.gov/E.gov/NN/(X(1)S(ds4gstehwnkekormeryx11ah))/reserve.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1
Then, QualitAir can register your Aircraft.
Finally, the Aircraft must have an Airworthiness inspection by a FAA inspector.
